Calf health survey

You are invited to participate in a collaborative research survey conducted by Drs. David Renaud and Kristen Edwards from the Department of Population Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, and Dr. Angel Abuelo from Michigan State University. The research team is interested in investigating the barriers to veterinarian involvement in calf health on dairy farms. With information obtained from the survey, they hope to gain a clearer understanding of current veterinarian involvement in calf health, which can be used to identify veterinarian knowledge gaps, develop veterinarian training and education tools, and inform industry best-practice.

This study involves completing an online survey, which is voluntary, and will take approximately 10 min. No identifying information will be provided to our research team. This survey is anonymous. The results of the study will be shared with AABP.

This study is funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Alliance Grant with the Dairy Farmers of Ontario. This project has been reviewed by the Research Ethics Board for compliance with federal guidelines for research involving human participants (REB #23-01-021).
