Targeted syndromic next-generation sequencing panel for simultaneous detection of pathogens associated with bovine reproductive failure

Share:
Periyasamy et al. (2024) present the bovine reproductive sequencing (BovReproSeq) panel developed to diagnose infectious causes of bovine reproductive failure. The panel can detect simultaneously 17 pathogens (bacteria, viruses, and protozoa) and reduce the time necessary for diagnosis compared to using a stepwise approach to diagnostic testing. The estimated overall accuracy of the assay was 98.8%.
