Investigating farm level risk factors for Salmonella Dublin infection and on-farm transmission in British Columbian dairy farms

Boyd et al. (2025) identified two factors that could distinguish positive from negative Salmonella Dublin farms: housing more than one adult dairy cow in a maternity pen and pasteurizing colostrum. The latter is likely a response to disease rather than a true risk factor.
