Low Levels of Neutralizing Antibodies to Influenza A (H5N1) and D Viruses Among Cattle and Cattle Workers on US Farms, 2024–2025

Shittu et al. (2025) measured neutralizing antibodies to influenza A(H5N1) and D viruses among cattle and cattle workers. None of the beef cattle farm workers had antibodies to influenza A(H5). Two dairy farm workers had antibodies to influenza A(H5). Influenza A(H5) antibodies were not identified in beef cattle, but they were identified in dairy cattle.
